Peristaltic
Pumps
Engineered for mineral processing, chemical production, and high-solids applications where reliability with viscous, abrasive, and corrosive fluids is critical.
How They Work
Peristaltic pumps operate by compressing a flexible hose or tube with rollers or shoes, creating a travelling wave that moves fluid forward — entirely without contact between the fluid and the pump mechanism. This makes them ideal for abrasive, corrosive, viscous, and high-solids slurries.
Because the fluid only contacts the hose interior, peristaltic pumps are self-priming, can run dry without damage, and are easily maintained by replacing the hose — no seals, valves, or mechanical components in contact with the process fluid.
Operated in the correct design environment of pressure, temperature, and flow, peristaltic pumps provide long service life and accurate metering capability in the most demanding process conditions.
